Photographer Jon Levicke shot rock concerts from 1969 - 1978.  He was at the 20 October 1972 concert at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
There he shot these wonderful black and white images of David Bowie and Mick Ronson from the fifth row with a camera that he had managed to smuggle in.
At this time no photographers/cameras were allowed at Ziggy Stardust concerts other than those sanctioned by MainMain.
Unfortunately, concert security caught Jon and took a roll of his film away. Fortunately these four shots survived!
